Healthy and nutritious meals delivered to your home

Access to proper nutrition is the cornerstone of good health. The Helping Hands Meals on Wheels program offers hot and frozen meal delivery for nutritional support to seniors and adults with physical disabilities. Hot, nutritionally balanced meals are delivered late afternoon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to our client’s homes. To compliment the hot meal program, the frozen meal program is available by pre-ordering one week in advance, either for pick up from our office or direct delivery. Both the hot and the frozen meal programs offer a variety of regular diet entrées and special diet entrées, as requested.         “These meals are amazing!” says Will B. of Oro-Medonte.

Meals on Wheels Prices

$6.60 per meal for either the hot or frozen meal entrée (breakfast $5.40) (HST exempt)

Eligibility

Aged 65 or greater, or adults over 18 years of age with physical disabilities, residing in the Helping Hands catchment area. (Orillia and surrounding region.)

Clients falling outside the above criteria may be reviewed and approved by our Director of Operations or designate, on an individual basis.
