Debbie is a senior inclusive leader with over 25 years in Human Resources. She has held positions in both private and not for profit leading a culture of change and growth over the years. She joined Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital in January 2021 and is the Vice President, People Strategy and CHRO. She has oversight for the strategic direction of two main portfolios: people and quality. The underpinning of these is the balance of safety and risk for staff and patients.

Prior to joining OSMH, Debbie held the position of Executive Vice President, People for the Canadian Cancer Society. She is a certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) and is a certified assessor in Myers Briggs, IDI (Cultural Competence) and EQI 2.0 (Emotional Intelligence).
